Sourced in the heart of Normandy, France and almost certainly originally made for a chapel or church, this stunning pair of antique, French, altar candlesticks show an incredible quality, weight and detail to the fine filigree work. The solid cast bronze is in generally very good condition, considering their age but does show a natural age related tarnishing, which has given it an incredible time worn age and patina. Would make a wonderful, rare, high quality, addition to any home.
