Antique French trinket jewellery vanity box with velvet cladding.

French, circa 1880-1900.

Velvet cladding, bronze lid decoration, handle, key escutcheon and feet, hinged lid, beading detail, cream silk padded interior with mirror.

Size: 11 x 7.5 x 5.5 inches.

Weight: 1.1 kg (allow up to 4 kg volumetric weight once packed).

Condition commensurate with age and use - lots of wear to velvet cladding and there is no key but all part of its charm and character.

Priced accordingly.

Best described as shabby chic or faded grandeur.
